BRAHLER PSI-300 PORTABLE SIMULTANEOUS INTERPRETATION SYSTEM: The Brahler PSI-300 is the first portable multi-channel system designed with simultaneous interpreters in mind. You can now perform bi-directional interpretations from one interpreter transmitter. The transmitter has the unique capability of switching between two different language channels at the touch of a button.

Operating in the 216MHz frequency range the PSI-300 System is FCC approved for language interpretation use. Although this system can be used as a fully functional hearing assist or tour-guide system it is not restricted to this use like the similar 72 MHz systems.

The Brahler DIGIVOTE Wireless Group Response System electronically collects and tabulates audience opinions, responses or answers instantaneously through wireless keypads distributed to the meeting attendees.

The participants use personal wireless keypads to respond to questions. When a participant has entered the response on the keypad, it is transmitted to the receiver unit via radio frequency. The receiver then transfers the signal to a computer. The computer tallies the responses from the receivers and instantly projects onto the computer or other projection device for the presenter or entire group to see. Data can be displayed in a number of ways depending on your choice of software.

In its basic form it is the simplest system imaginable. You simply set the microphones out on a table, plug one microphone unit into the next in a daisy chain method and the final unit into the control unit. A microphone/speaker unit can be placed at every seat or even every other seat depending on the room’s acoustics.

Expanding the system provides partial or complete control as exercised by the meeting facilitator over the choice of speaker through a central console. An RS 232 port further expands the flexibility of the system through optional software.
